Games for gender equity:

In the interest of attracting and retaining highly motivated, and diverse staff the Asia Region field offices has made gender sensitivity in the workplace a priority. During my second fellowship at Airbel center (IRC), my team is working on experimenting with various forms of play, games, skill- building and adult learning mechanics to design tools that would compliment the gender equity team’s portfolio.

The process involves mapping the games for good landscape and diversity and inclusion workplace strategies. Designing rough tools and games for prototyping at the country offices, planning a creative multi-stakeholder workshop with gender equity team, staff, game designer, activists to expand the scale of reach and build a network of people working in fostering inclusive workplaces.
